I Recent visit Villa Montavo Garden. Saratoga, California. I have some photos in here.
I made my frequent walk in my local park Alum Rock. I found great scenes and took some photos as I made my way through couple miles of long walk.
One of the shots was taken from the hillside as I went up the slope.
Amongst of the shots shows trees growing on big wall of rocks. Then I found some dead trees on those rocks too. I am actually not so sure if these trees are still alive, their roots clinging to surface of the rocks which have some thin layers of green grass or fungus living thanks to moist coming from the nearby creek.
Down here is a shot at dried dying tree of multiple small branches. Honestly I don't know if this tree still alive or not. Maybe it is just the way it is. It never gets worse or better as far as I know. I think I passed by these kinds of plant in some of my trips in Alum Rock Park over the years. I will find out more later. There is just no green leaves on these branches.
I took this shot from a hilltop side of Alum Rock Park. There are some trails take you up to this height of the park. The air is so fresh up here. Through the light blueish haze, you can see part of the Bay Area from the far distance.
Down here are trees live on rocks.
I got a shot of sunlight shed into this rock on left side. It creates a perception of rock discoloration. This is a zoom in shot, same location with the first photo of this blog.
I will describe more for the other photos I took in this blog later on. Wish you have a good time.
