Santa Cruz has its own attraction when these sea birds coming down enjoying their food, water and having fun with their buddies, especially in this boardwalk beach area. Of course it's not easy to swim here amongst hundreds of pelicans and other birds flying and swimming around this water. I definitely would not recommend swimming here because the water is not clean as you might know. And we just don't know what is underneath that busy water.
